Problem

A solo writer needed to leave a hosted platform that took 30% of subscription revenue and owned the audience relationship. The brief boiled down to: "I want my readers, my files, my money."

What I built

• Markdown-based editor with live preview and image handling
• Stripe paywall — free posts, subscriber-only posts, or one-time purchases
• SEO pipeline: metadata, OG images, sitemap, and clean URLs
• Email export tool so the audience list is never locked in

Result

Live with 500+ posts migrated from the old platform. The writer now keeps ~97% of subscription revenue after fees instead of 70%, and holds a full export of their subscriber list.
